As an Associate Principal, you will be serving as a high-quality instructional and operational leader, support the mission and vision of CSUSA, as well as their principal and state leaders, learn from Scholar Principals, Fellow Principals, Master Principals, and other state team leaders. This position will demonstrate expertise and ability to lead to ensure students learn in a safe and rigorous environment, lead curriculum content and course development, extracurricular activities, facilities operations, and emergency procedures.

Instruction/Education Responsibilities
- Demonstrates the ability to lead people and build relationships with various stakeholders.
- Communicates clear goals, expectations, and procedures with all staff members.
- Demonstrates the leadership skills necessary to lead in a collaborative and supportive manner.
- Sets a vision for student success, facilitating strategic thinking, planning and execution.
- Ensures the team appropriately prioritizes initiatives, based on the needs of the school and students.
- Provides teachers and other staff members with continuous and appropriate feedback.
- Evaluates staff annually during performance reviews.
- Dedicates time in other schools to observe and develop various leadership styles and skills.
- Fosters relationships within and across teams and stakeholders
- Develops and coordinates educational programs in accordance with CSUSA and state guidelines.
- Engages in professional development and training, reads literature, and independently researches topics on leadership in order to professionally grow and prepare for future principalship.
- Supervises student services for special populations to enhance individualized instruction.
- Ensures the school is in compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and policies.
- Assists in the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring process, and adheres to the hiring statutory laws and state regulations.
- Supports the Principal with all operations involving the management of the school including school funds, payroll, purchases, inventories, and office operations.

Job Requirements
- Master's degree in Education required.
- 3+ years' experience in Educational Leadership
- Appropriate state leadership certification
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of CSUSA and a positive track record of leading successful teams.
- MAC and PC proficient: Microsoft Office (O365, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), other relevant platforms/software programs and devices, LMS, instructional software, educational technology, and mobile communication device
- May perform other duties as assigned.
