As a Title I Summer School Worker, you will provide services aligned with Title I funding requirements, ensuring all activities are fully compliant, supplemental (where applicable), and directly support students and program objectives. This role includes planning or supporting activities, maintaining detailed documentation of services, participation, and outcomes, and completing time and effort reporting to ensure audit compliance.

How You Will Impact Education

The Title I Summer School Worker will contribute to student success by supporting structured programming aligned to Title I guidelines. Responsibilities include planning or assisting with instructional and enrichment activities, monitoring student engagement and participation, reinforcing academic or developmental skills, and maintaining a safe learning environment. The role requires accurate documentation of student services, participation, and outcomes, adherence to compliance requirements, and collaboration with instructional staff to ensure program effectiveness.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and support students from diverse backgrounds, particularly those identified as academically at risk. Demonstrated ability to follow instructional guidance and reinforce learning activities under the direction of certified staff. Basic understanding of student development and behavior management strategies. Ability to maintain accurate records of student participation and services. Knowledge of or willingness to learn Title I program requirements, including the importance of providing supplemental services and maintaining compliance documentation. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured environment.

Job Requirements

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required. Prior experience working with school-age children preferred, especially in educational or enrichment settings. Ability to support supplemental instructional activities without replacing core instructional services (supplement, not supplant requirement). Must demonstrate the ability to follow directions from instructional staff and maintain a safe and structured environment for students. Required to maintain accurate records of student attendance, participation, and services provided. Must complete time and effort documentation in accordance with federal Title I compliance guidelines. Successful completion of background check required. Must adhere to organizational policies, ethical standards, and federal program requirements.
