COLLATERAL ANALYST SENIOR WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? This colleague is responsible for a designated group of Asset Based Lending ("ABL") client portfolio, performing quantitative and qualitative analyses of accounts receivable, inventory and payables. Based on analytical data, the colleague is responsible for identifying and addressing any areas of concerns that can impair the integrity of Bank's collateral position as well as any collateral default and reporting requirement, either through written or verbal communication. The colleague must have the ability to provide excellent customer service to external and internal clients. The colleague is responsible for understanding and maintaining the loan documents and records related to his/her designated portfolio, both in electronic and hard copies. WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Identify and monitor potential risks and exposures related to the Bank's collateral, financial impact to Borrower and loan covenants.
- Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the legal terms, conditions and requirements pursuant to the loan agreement, credit approval and bank credit policy.
- Prepares the Collateral Instruction Sheet and Client filing system for new and existing clients.
- Manages the record keeping of legal documentations and various reports.
- Ensures the client compliance with collateral reporting requirements and continually monitors quality and timeliness of reports.
- Performs analyses of various client reports and computes the borrowing base pursuant to the Loan Agreement
- Prepares the collateral review reports, narrative analyses and various worksheets/spreadsheets.
- Data posting entry of collateral information to NTABL.
- Reviews month end reconciliation between the client aging and inventory reports and NTABL information.
- Manages the submission of collateral reports and borrowing base certificate through the Stucky-Net Link and corresponding data posting
- Conducts accounts receivable verification and follow-ups.
- Maintains excellent internal (relationship managers, underwriters, etc.) and external (ABL borrowers, CFO, Controller's, etc.) customer relation and services relating to collateral monitoring, issues, problems, system and other related functionality.
- Instructs and assists new ABL borrowers with ABL reporting procedures and requirements.
- Performs other duties as requested.
- Specific details of the job responsibilities are discussed in the ABLD Procedure Manual for Collateral Monitoring Unit.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, Asset Reader, Monarch, Stucky and AFS Software systems.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with accounts receivable financing, accounting or internal auditing.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation Starting base salary: $25.93 - $41.43 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
