PROCESS ANALYST - OPERATIONS WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? The Process Analyst will facilitate the documentation of Operations End to End Processes including Systems, Data Integration, Transformation and/or Handoffs, identification of Risk and Regulatory Obligations and mitigating Controls. This role will be responsible for the overall Process Engineering documentation that involves 'thinking processes' to draw inferences from process details and workflows, link inferences to the big picture and identifying process improvements and or automation. The Process Analyst will be critical in supporting Change Management, Change Documentation and Colleague change readiness while collaborating with technology partners in the design of information architecture and process functionality. WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Document current processes (process maps)
- Identify Risks and Mitigating Controls within each process
- Identify technology and data ownership, dependencies, and intersections
- Review and research current state processes
- Partner with lines of business and technology teams to make recommendations for future state
- Become the business subject matter expert, experienced in business analysis and requirements gathering
- Participate in process design and project implementation teams in process improvement activities
- Ownership of business readiness activities
- Diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using principles of process excellence and related tools
- Develops and supports the delivery of information to assist tactical and strategic programs.
- Establishes tracking metrics and standards documentation for adoption and audit
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a banking operations environment
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business process documentation
- Business Process Management Certification preferred
- Lean or Six Sigma Process Certification preferred
- Excellent process management and problem solving skills
- Strong Process Map Documentation Skills, familiarity with RACI's, Modeling, and Quality Control
- Prior banking experience and extensive experience of process analysis and design
- Thorough knowledge of Agile methodology preferred
- Thorough knowledge of PC computing environments, experience with database/data warehouses, and experience using reporting/query tools such as Brio, MS Query, MS Access, Crystal Reports or Business Objects
- Strong knowledge in MS Word, Excel and MS Access
- Working knowledge of financial analysis techniques
- Strong organizational and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Independently evaluates business systems needs and requirements and recommends and implements solutions
- Works on high priority projects where business problems are complex or unique
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
- Exercises judgment requiring more in-depth knowledge using generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation Starting base salary: $87,027 - $138,965 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
