The Responsibilities

• Communicate and discuss with multiple divisions stakeholders remotely to determine data reporting needs, drive report automation and assist with the development of business intelligence dashboards to provide ongoing tracking and insights. Work with various owners and developers/architects to ensure they have a clear understanding of technical and functional requirements.
• Perform data profiling and analysis to identify trends and provide insights to support technology and business decisions, including working with the business to identify application needs and make recommended solutions.
• Facilitate data extraction from primary and secondary data sources, data migration, maintenance and monitoring of databases/data systems that house and distribute the data
• Investigate source data to understand structure and interrelationships; identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets from various sources
• Drive project documentation including source-to-target mapping, data taxonomies, data lineage and other data management artifacts. Ensure that data definitions are clear, concise, technically valid, and accurately represented in the processes. Document test plans/cases/scripts to ensure upgrades and tests function accurately for business needs.
• Collect/document business and data requirements, create process map, specifications for reports and metrics automation, design and execute test cases
• Assist in the development, maintenance and synchronization of conceptual, logical and physical data models, including end-to-end integration testing with other applications and backend functionality.
• Assist in the development of schemas and automated controls to make data extraction and evaluation more flexible or scalable,
• Assist in the development and maintenance of interactive visualizations and dashboards.

The Qualifications

• 9-12 years of professional experience
• Extensive knowledge with analytics and problem solving
• Strong working knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing techniques and concepts (including ETL processes, Star Schema/Snowflake Schema), data/information extraction, aggregation and data visualization
• Proficiency in SQL or other query languages, data integration, ETL and working with large data sets that are structured and partially structured
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Financial Services experience highly preferred
• Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $87.24/hour - $93.53/hour
