What will you do?
- Provide direction and hands-on leadership to your team in the field, ensuring the successful completion of approved work plans
- Train staff on the safe and proper use of equipment, conduct safety inspections, and investigate accidents to maintain a safe working environment
- Build and maintain positive relationships with the public, city departments, unions, and outside organizations
- Monitor and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and ensure the efficient delivery of services
- Plan and coordinate upcoming work, including staffing, fleet ordering, and identifying areas for improvement
- Troubleshoot issues, resolve conflicts, and make sound decisions to ensure the smooth operation of daily activities
