Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for transforming workspaces into functional, inspiring environments? The City of Edmonton is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Infrastructure Planning and Design team. 

In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the successful delivery of facility projects that enhance our city's infrastructure. You will act as a key technical resource, ensuring that workspace planning projects are executed with precision, from initial scope definition to final completion. What will you do?

  • Support Program and Project Managers in delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Coordinate on-site meetings and visits to support project development, including feasibility studies and engagement activities
  • Assist with the preparation of project documentation, budget estimates, and technical specifications for furniture and materials
  • Act as a site liaison between the project team, consultants, and contractors to ensure work conforms to drawings and codes
  • Monitor project risks and contractual variances, providing recommendations for mitigation strategies
  • Review and process progress claims, track costs, and ensure all project documentation is finalized
  • Facilitate workspace planning by conducting needs assessments and coordinating with furniture vendors and property managers
  • Perform other related duties as required
