If so, then this opportunity might be for you! The City of Edmonton is looking for a Strategic Systems Analyst to join our Operations Performance and Analytics Team.

The Strategic Systems Analyst will be responsible for providing data and analytics support to operational teams within the Infrastructure Operations Section. You will be embedded within a portfolio of operational teams to understand their day-to-day work and challenges. You will design, implement, and maintain complex IT software solutions and tools to enable data-driven decision-making. You will also act as a support desk for analytical and operational software/programming used by the section.

What will you do?

• Act as the first point of contact for data, analytics, and performance-related questions for your assigned operational teams
• Understand the intricacies of each operational team's work and develop suitable data visualization systems and analytics reports
• Design, implement, and maintain complex IT software solutions and tools to enable data-driven decision-making
• Modify existing software, devise new software tools, or formulate new software to better fit operational demands
• Troubleshoot and rectify issues related to analytical and operational software/programming
• Support the implementation of the Infrastructure Operations Performance Management Framework (IPMF)
• Collect and input relevant data from your assigned operational portfolio to Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)
• Develop strong and reliable relationships with key operational stakeholders
