Training Coordinator II

The Retail Training Coordinator II is an essential support role for the Retail Training department in delivering best-in-class learning experiences for the Retail Home Centers.  This role assists with logistical and administrative support across a portfolio of training programs, departmental operations, and leads the coordination and deployment of all development program assessments.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Assist in setting up training sessions by preparing materials, coordinating with trainers, and ensuring that the necessary equipment is ready.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of training programs, including booking venues, sending out invitations, and confirming attendance.
  • Create and distribute travel surveys to participants to ensure individuals receive travel and meal accommodations that fit their specific needs.
  • Provide logistical support during training sessions at the Lodge and at the Corporate Office, such as setting up equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, or managing sign-ins.
  • Communicate with facilitators to ensure they are prepared with appropriate information to conduct effective training sessions.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Years of Related Experience: Minimum of 1 year of related experience required; 2 years preferred.

  • Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, establishing rapport and building credibility with management and team members.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, etc., and knowledge of project management tools, and internet research.
