Overview

CHI Health – Creighton University is recruiting for an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join a robust and busy practice model benefiting from over 250 referring primary care physicians.

We are looking for BC/BE and Orthopedic, fellowship trained Hand Surgeon to join our team of 14 specialists and build a robust hand practice to your liking.

This is an exciting time to be on the upward level of CHI Health's vision of providing comprehensive care for hand and wrist conditions and injuries. The Surgeon will work in collaboration with our world-class team of Orthopedic Surgeons providing the highest standards of quality patient focused care across all aspects of treatment.

The candidate will have an option of covering two different hospitals to develop their clinic and case time. The candidate should anticipate an extremely fast ramp up and a developing equity model for a future orthopedic hospital. Responsibilities
  • Patient Care:
    • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
    • Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.
  • Communication:
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
    • Provide clear and concise medical information.
    • Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
  • Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
    • Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
    • Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
  • Diagnostic Procedures:
    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
    • Perform procedures as needed
    • Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
    • Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.

Compensation Information:
$328.85 / Hourly - $328.85 / Hourly


Starting At: 328.85 Hourly
Up To: 364.42 Hourly
