SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Clinical Supervisor must be able to juggle multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and work well with other members of the team. They should be task-oriented individuals who are also able to advocate and serve as a mentor for the staff members who report to them.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide world class quality care directly to patients.
- Ensure that all elements of patient care are being met.
- Handle escalating situations between patients and healthcare providers.
- Serve as liaison when a patient has a concern with any element of care.
- Advocate for and educate patients.
- Work to improve efficiency throughout the clinic.
- Provide training and guidance to clinical staff members while providing the knowledge and tools they need to deliver top-quality care.
- Conduct Clinical Staff Meetings.
- Work with the Lead Physician, Administrator, Human Resources Manager, and Care Coordinators to facilitate and ensure adoption of all value-based healthcare quality measures are met.
- Create and maintain clinical staff schedules.
- Work with team to ensure schedules are meeting the needs of the clinic.
- Assist Human Resources Manager with recruiting and hiring of clinical staff.
- Maintain an ongoing list of tasks and projects within the clinical team while providing follow up and giving feedback and updates to the leadership team.
- Work with leadership team to develop new ways of bringing in additional revenue.
- Periodically review processes and documentation to ensure that compliance requirements are being met.
QUALIFICATIONS
- RN, BSN preferred
- 3-5 years of Clinical Supervisory experience preferred
