As a full time, exempt, Clinical Pharmacy Manager with CPS Solutions, LLC at McLaren Flint, you will serve as the leader of clinical pharmacy programs and services, develop a strong clinical team in a progressive healthcare environment and hospital which serves as a teaching facility.  Responsibilities Include: developing and maintenance of a drug policy to support optimal pharmaceutical care and promotes optimal cost effectiveness for all patients; assess, develop, coordinate, implement, and maintenance of clinically relevant tools to support clinical programs and services; aid the Director of Pharmacy in maintaining the pharmacy and an annual clinical plan with the Regional Director of Clinical Service. 

Schedule:  This position will work at least 40 hours per week, primarily Monday-Friday daytime hours.

Starting salary range: $140k - $170k annually (based upon related work experience).

About the Facility: McLaren Flint, is a 378-bed tertiary teaching facility located in Flint, Michigan. McLaren Flint is affiliated with Michigan State University (MSU) College of Human Medicine in its medical and surgical residency programs, including family practice, internal medicine, general surgery, and orthopedic surgery.  McLaren Flint also maintains fellowship programs in clinical health psychology, vascular surgery, minimally invasive surgery and cardiology in partnership with MSU.  CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy: The central pharmacy is open 24 hours, 7 days per week and offers decentralized clinical services.  Pharmacy automation includes Cerner, Omnicell and CPOE.  

Required Qualifications: 

• PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
• Current Michigan Pharmacist license in good standing
• Experience as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital setting preferred
• Experience with Anticoagulation dosing and monitoring, antimicrobial stewardship, oncology practice 
• Successful completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency preferred
• Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, respond to client concerns and work cooperatively with other staff.

Hospital Requirements: (may be required)

• (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
• Hep B3 Series (or declination) 
• (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th  
• COVID Vaccine
