Legal Operations & Procurement Specialist

As a fulltime, nonexempt, Legal Operations & Procurement Specialist with CPS Solutions, LLC's Corporate Legal team, you will work under the direction of Legal Operations Manager and with members of the Legal Operations Division on a variety of matters to support the businesses of CPS. Duties include:
- Review and analyze data for quality assurance.
- Daily record updates with electronic and physical filing of documents.
- Assist in compiling and distributing internal reports to business units (financial, matter tracking, procurement tracking).
- Work with Business owners and internal departments to gather, input, and track data for procurement agreements.
- Drafting responsibilities, including contracts and memoranda.
- Synthesize and organize information, and create reference tools for easy use by the team.
- Prepare other legal documents and correspondence.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Schedule: This full time position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
Pay range: $24.04 - $31.25 per hour based upon related work experience; plus bonus eligibility.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Legal Studies or related field of study; Bachelor's Degree in related fields preferred.
- 2 or more years of work experience in the legal field (i.e. Legal Assistant, Paralegal or Legal Operations).
- Ability to draft concise, well-researched memoranda and other legal documents.
- Analytical thinker with strong theoretical and research proficiencies.
- Solid knowledge of diverse areas of the law, preferably in health care and/or privacy law.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with legal staff and business team members.
- Experienced in Coordination of Procurement related queries, documentation, registers and filing system.
- Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management, Matter Management, and Customer Relationship Management applications.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.
