Staff Pharmacist - Per Diem

As a per diem, nonexemptCPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist,you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain the security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy

Schedule: This position will work up to 19 hours per week, providing coverage "as needed". This position will primarily provide coverage between the hours of 8:00 am-2:30 pm Monday-Friday. This position has no regularly scheduled hours.

Starting Pay:  $58+ per hour, (Depending on related work experience)

Haven Behavioral Hospital of Philadelphia which opened in 2013, is a licensed 42-bed acute care psychiatric hospital providing inpatient psychiatric stabilization and treatment to adults ages 55 and older who are experiencing acute symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood disorders and psychosis. We also treat individuals who are suffering from other medical conditions such as dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Patients are treated through a program of comprehensive assessments, medication evaluation and stabilization before a coordinated return to an appropriate environment. We are a facility committed to excellence for the treatment of our patients. .  CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
  • Current State of Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing 
  • Experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital setting preferred
  • Experience working with Pyxis preferred
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
  • Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
  • Effective communications skills; verbal and written
  • Ability to work in Philadelphia with travel to the Reading and West Chester locations as needed is preferred (Travel stipend can be provided)

Hospital Requirements (may be required):

  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
  • Hep B3 Series (or declination)
  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
