This role leads the organization-wide infection prevention program, ensuring policies, practices, and surveillance meet regulatory and accreditation standards. The nurse conducts routine and targeted rounding, analyzes infection data, and partners with clinical leaders to reduce risk and improve outcomes. Work is highly collaborative, involving nursing, quality, surgery, environmental services, medical staff, and leadership teams. Regulatory readiness, reporting, education, and policy development are ongoing responsibilities that require strong organization and attention to detail. The position also provides occasional back-up support for Employee Health, balancing planned work with emerging issues and outbreaks.

• Associate of Science in Nursing
• Five years' clinical experience, preferably in acute care settings
• one year of experience as an infection control nurse in a healthcare setting

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Additional training or experience in epidemiology, community health, occupational health and safety

The pay range listed above is the estimated starting pay range for this role. Actual pay rate offered depends on many factors including each individual employee's experience level, preferred education/certifications, along with market conditions.
