Enhance patient outcomes in innovative orthopedic care.

Join Our Team at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center

At Cuyuna Regional Medical Center (CRMC), we're more than just a healthcare organization - we're a community dedicated to making a meaningful impact. For more than 60 years, we've been providing compassionate, high-quality care in the Greater Brainerd Lakes Area and beyond. Our team is driven by a shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and putting people first - both our patients and our employees. Whether you're on the front lines of patient care or supporting operations behind the scenes, you'll find a culture of collaboration, growth, and respect. If you're looking for a career where your work truly matters, we invite you to join us at CRMC and be part of something bigger.

A Day in the Life of an Orthopedic RN Assistant

In this role, you'll ensure all necessary orthopedic equipment, supplies, and implants are prepared and available for surgeries, anticipating the specific needs of each case. Collaboration is key; you'll work closely with orthopedic surgeons, peri-operative RNs, and other healthcare staff to streamline communication and procedures across clinical and surgical environments. Challenges include managing multiple tasks efficiently under the dynamic pressure of surgical schedules and patient needs. Your responsibilities extend to the clinic, where you'll assist in patient preparation and education, promoting understanding and safety. Typically, your workstation will alternate between the CRMC and Riverwood Healthcare campuses, adapting to both clinic and surgery department demands.
