The Patient Access Specialist-Scheduling-Rehab role centers on deftly coordinating patient appointments, ensuring each is scheduled according to specific guidelines and preferences which involves understanding clinic operations and provider requirements. The position requires handling sensitive patient information with discretion, maintaining accurate electronic medical records and processing necessary documentation. Challenges include multitasking effectively across various roles, such as confirming insurance details and managing patient registrations, while delivering high-quality customer service. This role acts as a crucial liaison among patients, healthcare providers, and other clinic departments to facilitate seamless communication and coordination of care. The work environment necessitates the ability to adapt to potentially stressful situations, exercising judgement and flexibility.

• Successful completion of data entry and general clerical standards as administered by Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Human Resources Staff

• Completion of Health Care Administrative Specialist or similar program or comparable experience in a health care facility
• High School Diploma or equivalent
