The Highlights: This position reports to the Associate Vice-President for Academic and Library Affairs. The position supports the University's Academic Integrity (AI) hearings and activities, the University partnership with DePaul College Prep as well as the Academic Program Review process. The position interacts with the members of the Academic Integrity Board in order to facilitate the work of the board, and interacts with the larger university community to disseminate information about the AI policy and process. Additionally, the position provides logistical support for the AI and APR processes and performs budgetary functions along with support for the DePaul College Prep partnership.
 

What You'll Do:

  • Day-to-day interactions (primarily via email) with faculty, staff, and students regarding Academic Integrity (AI) issues;
    - Logistical support (e.g., scheduling) of meetings and events to promote compliance with the AI policy and for the training of
    AIB members; 
    - Assisting with the implementation of AI appeal process through updates to software platforms (e.g., Campus Connection); 
    - Maintain and update AI website, Campus Connect, and other AI materials; 
    - Review violations (e.g., check for mandatory hearings, multiple violations, etc.); 
    - Distribute and maintain correspondence of AI related information (multiple hearing violations, violation modifications, etc.); 
    - Maintain electronic archive for case files; 
    - Schedule hearings, attend hearings as an observer, and notify students of hearing outcome decisions; 
    - Maintain familiarity with AI process and assist AIB chairs as needed;
  • Support for DePaul College Prep partnership, specifically summer dual enrollment.
  • Provide logistical support for APR external reviewer visits (accommodations, meeting planning, etc.); Process payment requests for external reviewers, attend budget manager meetings, review processed payments and track spending.
     
What You'll Need: 
  • Associate degree or equivalent, or equivalent experience with 3-5 years of experience in administrative/secretarial positions in a university/corporate setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or liberal arts preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (required) 
  • Familiarity with Sharepoint (preferred) 
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft (preferred)
     
The anticipated hiring range for this position is: $23.45 to $27.79 per hour.  The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education and other factors including departmental budget.
