The Clinical and Training Specialist will develop program and training content while ensuring all content is accurate, up to date, and is in alignment with all compliance and contractual requirements. This is a remote role with preference to work Eastern Standard Hours.
Responsibilities
Understand all applicable clinical guidelines (KDIGO, CDC, AHA, GOLD, etc.) to ensure content is accurate and up to date
Recommend changes and/or updates to content (current or future) to maintain compliance with up to date guidelines
Ensure content aligns with requirements set forth by NCQA, CMS, Medicaid, SNP, and other regulatory entities
Research and stay current on best practices and standards of practice in CKD/ESKD, clinical areas/co-morbidities, population health, and value-based care and ensure content aligns with all items
Collaborate with training and technology teams for successful development and implementation related to any clinical content needs
Contribute to a culture of continuous development and rapid iteration
Cross functional liaison between clinical and training teams

Qualifications
Five (5) years of related work experience and/or Bachelor's degree
Five (5) years of people management
Clinical licensure: RN, RD, NP or LCSW
Experience researching, interpreting, and implementing clinical guidelines
Experience implementing clinical best practice in clinical program and training content
Experience with MOC, SNP, Medicaid, NCQA, contract requirements
Experience working with vulnerable patient populations (CKD/ESRD, geriatrics, minorities, low income, uninsured, etc.)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Understanding of healthcare workflows for population health, value-based care, and care management.
Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities with minimal oversight.
Ability to handle ambiguity and desire to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
Acute attention to detail.
Ability to be both a strategic and tactical change agent in the clinical space.
Self-starter who will take initiative and be proactive when there are multiple priorities.
Strategic solution-seeker who sees opportunities when others see barriers.
Understands and complies with highest standards of confidentiality.
Proficient in Microsoft applications including Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lucid, and other web-based applications.
Travel Requirement:
This position requires up to 10% travel. Travel may be outside the local area and overnight.
