General Summary:
Holds the overall responsibility for management of the corporate macro forecast strategy to include analyzing and improving forecasts, the forecast process, Inventory Management, resources, and the system, to support overall corporate sales and inventory goals. Collaborates with vendors and internal departments on the strategy for integration of forecast information where needed in the business. Responsible for assisting in the oversight, analysis, and execution of the forecast component of any corporate strategic initiatives that require this expertise or dimension.
Job Details:Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversees management of the forecast strategy, process, and overarching KPIs 3
- Manages seasonality trends.
- Leads forecasting related process improvement initiatives. Provides subject matter expertise to the organization.
- Manages macro promotion system performance, data strategy, enhancements, etc.
- HR responsibilities include managing team to include selection, training, performance management, and development for movement within department and/or organization.
- Oversees the execution of the forecasting system against target results, recommends improvements
- Supports vendor and internal department collaboration (forecast data and expertise).

- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint and database applications.

Work Experience &/or Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, finance or related field and five years' experience in supply chain, inventory management, and/or demand planning required.
- Knowledge of the demand forecasting/planning systems preferred.
- Direct experience in retail industry and/or associated value chain required.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of forecasting methodology preferred.
- Knowledge of supply chain systems preferred.
- Aldata G.O.L.D. knowledge preferred.
