Job Details:

Responsible for assisting with the physical inventory process by answering field questions as well as tracking data that is utilized in performance metrics for field employees as well as the third party inventory service.

 

Duties & Responsibilities: What major responsibilities does this position have and what percentage of time is spent on completing them? (Typically 5 – 7)

  • Tracks inventory cancellations in workflow. Logs recounts in workflow database.
  • Prepares inventory service invoices for payment. Reviews exceptions from inventory service invoices.  Prepares and submits inventory service expense accruals.  Processes journal entries as needed.
  • Answers basic “inventory day” questions from field management. Tracks daily inventory questions and develops FAQ's.
  • Follows up on pre-inventory information. Processes piece-count estimates and submits to inventory service.
  • Assists in drafting physical inventory Instructions and other inventory related documentation.
  • Reviews outlier reports indicating problematic inventories. Maintains tote picture library and field tote information.

Work Experience &/or Education: What are the minimum education and/or experience requirements necessary to perform this job?

 

Associates degree or equivalent and one to two years relevant experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.  Three to four years relevant experience may be substituted for degree.
