That's Nice, But What's the Job?

In short, as an Analyst you will have a unique opportunity to join the performance marketing team at DriveTime. You will be joining a team dedicated to building a world class marketing strategy by leading in innovation, automation, and data driven decision making.

Always with an eye on return on ad spend, the team is responsible for automating, and optimizing campaigns across digital and traditional marketing mediums. This includes TV, paid search, display, social, and digital video. We are a small team that packs a big punch and in addition to our focus on paid marketing we also are responsible for SEO, website analytics, and website A/B user testing.

A candidate does not need experience with marketing per se but must possess the know how to leverage their technical skills and analytical thought to make an impact on the team and organization. We are looking for a candidate who is driven and excited about the idea of leveraging big data to solve even bigger problems.

In long, our Analyst II, Performance Marketing are responsible for:

  • Learn and optimize to the underlying levers for each marketing medium using a data driven approach

  • Understand economic concepts that play a pivotal role in campaign outcomes

  • Develop a deep understanding of who is and isn't a DriveTime consumer

  • Manipulate, analyze, and present data using programs like SQL, Snowflake, Excel, Tableau, and Python

  • Build reporting dashboards to see performance in real time and variance versus long term trends

  • Build and activate marketing campaigns at scale

  • Partner with the creative team to optimize best practice creative

  • Partner with the online team to continuously improve our website, SEO rankings, and drive conversion

  • Hypothesize outcomes and create A/B testing scenarios for everything from ad copy to personalized user experience on our website

  • Partner with Google, Bing, Facebook, and Salesforce to gain access to their latest betas and ensure DriveTime stays on the cutting edge of marketing innovation

  • Frequently communicate results to Sr. leadership and executive team

So What Kind of Folks Are We Looking for?

  • Killer analytical and reporting abilities.  You'll need the capability to analyze data and in return, prepare timely reports on your findings.

  • Strategic thinker.  We are looking for an individual that takes an insightful, future oriented, open-minded and proactive approach to thinking.

  • Intellectual curiosity.  Why? What? How?  Do you find yourself always wanting to learn more and broaden your knowledge base?  If so, this could be the role for you.

The Specifics.

  • A quantitative degree in either; economics, finance, analytics, math, engineering, computer science

  • 2+ years experience in an analytics capacity

  • A record or pattern of great performance and outcomes. Can be academic and or career experience.

  • Willingness to go above and beyond what might be expected. Comfortable pursing excellence

  • History of analytical and critical thought

  • Capable in SQL, Excel, and Tableau

  • Willingness and appetite to learn new skills and the drive to exceed lofty goals
