Financial Teller

Looking for a role with a strong culture, meaningful member interaction, and great benefits? EECU is seeking a Financial Teller for our Hulen location. In this role, you'll help create a welcoming financial center experience while connecting members with the right products, services, and solutions for their needs.

At EECU, excellent service starts with understanding our members. As a Financial Center Consultant I, you'll support members through teller transactions, provide guidance on EECU products and services, and build sincere relationships that help create lifelong members.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver a friendly, helpful, and consistent member experience in every interaction.
  • Provide a complete service and sales experience that supports member needs and contributes to monthly sales goals.
  • Perform a wide range of teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and other member service functions.
  • Help identify and resolve operational issues with accuracy, professionalism, and care.
  • Proactively support marketing initiatives within the branch.
  • Build strong rapport with members by providing excellent service and personalized support.
  • Provide lobby coverage by greeting members, answering calls, and connecting members with the appropriate team member or resource.

What We're Looking For

  • One to two years of experience in a retail, financial services, or customer-facing environment with a focus on excellent service and relationship-building.
  • Experience handling cash daily, with the ability to balance accurately without overages or shortages.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage comfortably and professionally with members.
  • Enthusiasm, professionalism, ownership, and accountability.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing multiple tasks each day.
  • A good listener who is approachable, empathetic, and solutions-focused.
  • Relevant computer skills, solid math skills, and strong written communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Schedule

  • This is a full-time position.
  • Candidates must be available Monday–Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
