Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the administrative and secretarial duties for the Diabetes Education Program. The Administrative Assistant coordinates activities to meet the needs of the department.

Status: Full-time
Shift: 8 hour days
Hours: 8a - 4p
Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.
- Bilingual, Spanish preferred
- Secretarial experience with demonstrated knowledge of the operation of general office equipment and computer/printer skills
- Advanced knowledge of word processing programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook.
- Proficiency on an Electronic Medical Records system (for example Epic).
- Effective organizational and communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Education Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalency
