Job Summary:
The Medical Education Coordinator manages all of the administrative needs for the EHMC Office of Medical Education. This includes credentialing, scheduling, and gathering evaluations for trainees based at EHMC, as well as those coming from affiliated institutions and other outside institutions. The Coordinator will oversee administration of institutional requirements for trainees based at EHMC and affiliated trainees including medical and nursing students, PA students, visiting residents, and visiting observers. The Coordinator will serve as the Program Coordinator for the Podiatric Surgery Residency Program. The Coordinator reports to the Chair of the Medical Education Committee, the Program Director of the Podiatric Surgery Residency Program, and to the Office Manager for the Department of Medicine.

Job Essentials:

  • A minimum of 3 years of administrative experience required.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
  • Professional Skills – must be able to prioritize work, achieve a collegial work environment and function well within a team of faculty, residents, and administrative personnel.
  • Must have superior organizational skills and be able to prioritize work independently and to meet important deadlines.
  • Must have excellent computer skills and be comfortable with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Able to handle confidential patient information.

 

Education Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree required.

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
