Job Summary:
The Diabetes Program Manager is responsible for management of the Diabetes Program while meeting the national standards for diabetes self-management education. This includes the planning, implementation and evaluation of diabetes self-management education programs while meeting the needs of the hospital and community. Support the Vice President in accomplishing Division and Hospital goals.

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.
- 3 or more years working in a Diabetes Education Program.
- Experience with the American Diabetes Association national recognition program.
- Strong communication skills; strong presentation skills and the ability to connect with a diverse audience
- Proven leadership experience.
Education Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree preferred.
License/Certification/Registry:
- Registered Nurse or Registered Dietitian.
- Certified Care and Education Specialist (CDCES).
