We are seeking an experienced Space Systems Senior Test and Evaluation Engineer to support Space Systems Command Battle Management Command, Control, and Communications (SSC/BC) portfolio. The position is available in El Segundo, California. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Support enterprise integration and modernization of tactical level Command, Control & Communications (C3) capabilities to transform satellite operations and improve resiliency.
- Perform space acquisitions, engineering, operations, and technical advice and assistance for all projects and programs, as required, to support any stage of the acquisition life cycle.
- Prepare and review test plans, and test reports, analytical evaluation of systems' compatibility, and development of requirements.
- Document program test strategy and plans, test scenarios and test requirements in development contractor contractual documents and Government program office documentation.
- Work with development contractors to ensure developmental test objectives are consistent with applicable standards, instruction and policy.
- Work with Government developmental and operational test agencies/organizations to develop the adequate test methodology consistent with the program manager's expectations and other external stakeholders, as appropriate.
- Lead and/or participate in test working groups which plan, status, and discuss test related matters.
 

Qualifications

- Master's and/or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- ITEA Certified Test & Evaluation Professional and, or INCOSE Certified Systems Engineer Professional credentials.

Requirements

-MS/MA with more than 10 years of direct applicable experience in space control,  network integration, RF engineering,  computer science,  electronic warfare, or systems engineering
- Experience in ACAT-like test and evaluation planning and execution for  developmental and operational test activities
- Experience with requirements traceability, system-of-systems integration and testing, test planning, development and execution testing
- Experience with test process development, test case design, test procedure development, test execution, system evaluation and test reporting
- Technical skills to understand and analyze system problems, define potential solutions, and conduct in-depth technical analysis, assessments and trades and explain results of technical studies in a systems engineering context.
- MUST HAVE AT A MINIMUM, A CURRENT TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE AND BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A TS/SCI CLEARANCE, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU DO NOT MEET THIS REQUIREMENT.
