Description
Responsibilities of the Senior Scheduler position include but are not limited to:
- Exposure to various assets and operations to build a rounded understanding of natural gas gathering, processing and scheduling functions.
- Will make/receive natural gas nominations and scheduling assigned systems. Perform confirmations with upstream and downstream parties.
- Manage daily production vs. scheduled volumes. Tracks associated imbalances and adjusts accordingly.
- Develop and provide daily flow orders to guide gas control and field operations.
- Work with producers, operations, gas control and downstream pipelines to mitigate various daily operating issues.
- Assists in end of month actualization for accounting close.
- Position calls for rotating evening and weekend on-call schedule.
- Must be willing to travel 5% of the time as required.
Requirements
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or commensurate work experience is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional business or related experience is preferred.
- The ability to analyze data for variances and anomalies is required.
- Able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with other individuals, teams, customers and stakeholders of the business, at various levels of the organization.
- Able to demonstrate effective leadership skills; have strong problem solving skills.
- Takes initiative and is proactive in addressing issues. Quickly and efficiently completes takes.
- Must be detail oriented.
- The ability to demonstrate conscientiousness, dependability and commitment to the job.
- Work in a fast paced team environment, proactively utilize all learning and support resources.
- Working proficiency/knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.
