Location: Hybrid to New York

SUMMARY:

This role will be working with clients individually and directly and/or as part of the client team for larger clients. The role is responsible for requesting/receiving renewal exposures, building submissions, obtaining loss runs and summarizing those for marketing purposes. This role will also build the renewal proposals with the Client Executive/Private Equity. This role is largely responsible for coordinating the onboarding process of new clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Run the renewal process, including exposure analysis for client (e.g., reviews census/experience data, contractual requirements for insurance), participate in strategy sessions with Producers and client regarding whether to market and if applicable, obtains and evaluates quotes, prepares proposal, and review accuracy of insurance binders
  • Request required information in order to start the renewal process from both the customer and carrier
  • Gather, review and organize information to complete renewal submissions based on client's unique business needs
  • Review renewal quotes for accuracy and ensure customer's exposures are adequately covered
  • Participate in new business development and proposals with Producer as needed
  • Conduct insurance consulting assignments on behalf of clients
  • Make positive contributions to customer satisfaction and constantly strive to improve service to the client
  • Maintain an understanding of insurance terminology, trends and factors influencing the industry, and the various lines of insurance for the clients we serve
  • Maintain sales support systems, trackers and pipelines for clients and/or prospects
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.  College degree preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in mid-size brokerage or carrier
  • Must have working knowledge of a variety of Microsoft Office computer software applications to include word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software
  • Detail oriented
  • Demonstrated time management skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  • Current Property and Casualty Broker License

The national average salary for this role is $75,000 to $85,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
