Description & Requirements

The Principal, Digital Marketing; leads the digital content strategy to drive business growth. Analyzes and optimizes the company website to increase brand awareness, and engagement and increase the volume quality of inbound leads. Presents and evangelizes content strategy and roadmaps. Provides leadership to the members of the Digital Marketing team.


What you will be doing:

  • Conducts website content audit using Google Analytics and other third-party data.
  • Assesses content opportunities and provides content strategy recommendations based on the website content audit.
  • Creates and optimizes journey paths for distinct groups either persona or industry based.
  • Develops SEO plans for new keyword coverage and increasing position on existing keywords.
  • Builds and socializes the approved content strategy to achieve business side project goals and deliver roadmap initiatives.
  • Manages cross-functional content project team and ensures delivery dates are met.
  • Works with other marketing teams to provide strategy and direction for web content while following guidelines.
  • Establishes and maintains editorial standards to maximize accuracy, optimized content and quality.
  • Develops training materials and best practice guides for web content authors.
  • Acts as an evangelist for Epicor inside and outside events.
  • Brings innovation, emerging technologies and industry-specific expertise with outside trends, customer feedback, etc.


What you will likely bring:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to work as a team player and leadership skills.
  • Self-starter approach to work Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency with business and industry.
  • Ability to lead a team to meet deadlines.
  • 7+ years managing web content plans, SEO, and web copywriting.
  • 5+ years analyzing web data.
  • 5+ years' experience with Google Analytics, SalesForce, and CMS (Ektron a plus).
  • Experience with heat maps, BrightEdge, Demandbase, and Market a plus.
  • 5+ years project management.


What could set you apart:

  • 8+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
  • 3+ years of specialized/industry experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • MBA is a plus.
