Job Summary

The Senior Procurement Consultant is responsible for the development of strategic relationships with key suppliers and ensuring performance meets expectations

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct sourcing events via process driven methodologies (RFX) including conducting market research and spend analysis
• Develop collaborative partnerships with business stakeholders to advise and influence supplier and sourcing strategies
• Review, draft and lead negotiations of third-party supplier contracts in cooperation with key internal stakeholders including the business, Legal, InfoSec, IT etc to secure the most favorable commercial and legal terms
• Proactively manage strategy and contract events including renewals
• Provide guidance on policy and practice internally. 
• Collaborate on category plans, team structure and goals 
• Develop and execute against multi-term negotiation strategies, conduct analysis to determine best overall value and support recommendations
• Prepare and present up to Executive level summaries and analysis

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

•  Demonstrated skill in negotiation and contract management
• A proactive individual with a natural bias to take action and deal with ambiguity
• Strong orientation to relationship building, collaboration, confidentiality, and integrity
• Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills
• Ability to lead and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and assess priorities appropriately
•  Excellent analytical skills to build financial business cases
•  Skilled in negotiating, managing, and extracting value
•  Strategic, analytical, and adept problem solving
•  Demonstrates and maintains a professional and respectful demeanor in all situations

Qualification

• 3+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge 
• 1+ years of specialized/industry experience 
• Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)

• Background in Marketing, HR, Events or Software Procurement (non-IT)
