Job Description

Our Technical Account Managers have a detailed understanding of the client's environment (including all SS&C Advent, Eze and I&IM products, add-on pieces, integration points & customizations) and share this information with other appropriate contacts. You'll be responsible for the ongoing success of SS&C Advent, Eze and I&IM product implementations at many of our largest and most complex client installations.

The Technical Account Manager functions as a named, central point of contact for assigned clients' technical and operational needs related to their Advent production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a product strategy, messaging and launch of products and solutions that support our overall strategy and goals.

  • Act as liaison between Business and Advent delivery teams. Assist in defining, capturing, documenting and sharing the actual product scope and functionality.

  • Analyze market opportunity, anticipate industry direction and evaluate the feasibility and financial justification for new products and/or new releases of existing products.

  • Identify requirements for future and current products in the context of the company's strengths and capabilities, technologies, quality, costs, customer interactions, and marketplace demands.

  • Define target prospects and assists sales in lead generation. Oversees the product life cycle from conception through retirement.

  • Work closely with functional teams, including technical architecture and development teams, to ensure that appropriate processes are being adhered to in order to meet financial, timing, and customer expectations.

Requirements
  • A background in Financial Services - our solutions are widely used by some of the largest and most recognized financial services organizations and understanding of their departments and enterprise-wide platform architecture is key for this role.

  • Consulting experience - has a strong understanding of customers' needs and the competitive environment including our position in relation to competitors. Understand the market forces required to launch a successful product solution with the ability to drive future state solutions!

  • Possess knowledge of overall product development processes and marketing strategy.

  • Strong analysis/project management mindset to thrive in a demanding environment.

  • Experience working on projects of moderate scope or on varied tasks that require resourcefulness, self-initiative, and significant independent judgement.

  • Demonstrate a developing functional knowledge to evaluate the implications of issues and make recommendations for solutions.

  • Prior has experience guiding team members and recommending new procedures.

  • A Master's degree or Bachelor's degree would be useful.
