As an Expeditor you will be actively calling to expedite and improve delivery on open Purchase Orders. You will pro-actively expedite purchase orders for both stock and customer requirements. Communicating with customers while resolving issues. You will have a direct impact on the bottom line!
Responsibilities:
Proactively expedite purchase orders for both stock and customer requirements.
Maintain accurate expected ship dates on open purchase orders and inform sales team of any potential delays to customer orders.
Update sales order dates and notes with current shipment information
Compile, organize, and report vendor delivery performance to purchasing management and other key organizational stakeholders.
Assist with miscellaneous duties and project as assigned by manager.
Required Skills:
Superior organizational skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills used to establish and build strong relationships.
Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels of employees within the organization, as well as customers, vendors, and suppliers regarding the delivery timelines and impact to the business.
Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, namely Excel, Word, & Outlook.
