
Description
The Director for Pumps & Rotating Equipment (P&RE) will serve as an extension of FCX's corporate management team. The primary objective is to manage and expand key vendor relationships while driving organic product growth strategies and cross-sell synergies across all divisions of FCX Performance.
Along with excellent sales and strategic planning skills, the Director P&RE will possess strong product, application, customer and market knowledge. This person will be acutely aware of and stay abreast of key vendor, product, and competitive market opportunities and developments. The Director P&RE will possess the ability to create and drive FCX's business development strategy around the right product portfolio, customers, markets and product approach.
The position will report to the Executive Vice President – Business Development. We are open to candidates living in Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX or Houston, TX. Travel requirements will range from 30-50%.

Responsibilities:
- Develop FCX's business strategy in the product vertical of Pumps & Rotating Equipment
- Own the maintenance and development of assigned key vendor relationships, ensuring FCX exceeds annual growth targets for our supplier partners
- Leverage relationships to expand with key vendors into new territories and attract new product lines that facilitate market penetration
- Apply knowledge to lead the execution of FCX Performance's strategic growth plans around vendors, products, geographies, and end-markets
- Work with Regional and Divisional Sales Managers, and sales team members in the execution of tactical sales plans, implement recovery plans to close performance gaps as needed;
- Provide leadership and direction for product specialists or other technical sales support team members
- Assist sales reps and division managers to drive large customer / project opportunities that may require a more corporate approach
- Share sales successes and best practices across the Company's divisions, branches and salespeople
- Serve as subject matter expert, guiding the assembly of FCX University's technical training platform in order to accelerate the development of both inside and outside sales team members
- Assist in the development of an actionable acquisitions pipeline
Preferred Education/Experience
- 5-years related industry experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong track record of success
Compensation
- In accordance with applicable wage transparency law requirements, the typical estimated total compensation for this position is $125,000 to $200,000 per year depending on experience, including potential bonus opportunities. Bonus amounts can be tied to company, location and/or individual performance, but no specific amount is guaranteed.
