Internship Opportunity: HR/Benefits Compliance Analyst Intern
Location: Remote or On-Site (Flexible)
Hours: 25-30 hours/week (Full-time optional, if desired)
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to assist with a critical project related to Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA). This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on real-world HR and benefits projects while gaining experience in legal document analysis, data organization, and system enhancement.
The initial focus will be reviewing CBAs for Leave of Absence (LOA) language, summarizing findings, and inputting the information into a spreadsheet to support an LOA system enhancement launching on April 1st. Following this project, the intern will review CBAs for benefit-related language in preparation for a subsequent project.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) for specific LOA and benefit-related language.
Accurately document and organize findings in a spreadsheet.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and relevance for the system enhancement.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
Support other related projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Current student or recent graduate studying Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Compensation, Legal Studies, or related fields.
Strong ability to comprehend and analyze moderately complex legal documents.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with mid-level skills (e.g., sorting/filtering, data entry, basic formulas).
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Experience or coursework in paralegal studies or HR compliance is a plus.
