Now Hiring: Quality Control Supervisor

At First Student, our Quality Control Supervisors play a vital role in ensuring excellence in daily operations, safety, and customer satisfaction. As a Quality Control Supervisor, you will oversee operational efficiency, ensuring our vehicles, drivers, and procedures meet the highest standards.

Quality Control Supervisor Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train drivers to uphold quality, safety, and operational standards
  • Manage driver check-ins, work assignments, and mandatory overtime when required
  • Conduct vehicle and lot inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness guidelines
  • Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and safety concerns
  • Provide coaching and performance feedback to drivers, ensuring continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with internal departments to enhance efficiency and service quality
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, driver evaluations, and daily operations
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Maintain a valid CDL and drive periodically as required
Quality Control Supervisor Experience & Skills Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in quality management, transportation, or a related field is a plus
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in transportation, automotive, or quality control
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to analyze data and implement effective quality improvement strategies
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
