The Senior Enterprise Data Analyst will design and deliver key reports, metrics, and dashboards while closely aligning with business stakeholders and technology teams in a global delivery model.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Reporting & Analytics Development
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements for reports, metrics, and dashboards.
- Develop deep knowledge of business operations and data usage.
- Provide guidance on data management best practices.
- Serve as SME for data engineering teams and technology partners.
Data Management
- Advise data governance and Strategic Data Board.
- Collaborate with Data Stewards to ensure compliance with privacy regulations and company policies.
Stakeholder Management
- Build collaborative relationships with business stakeholders.
- Define functional requirements and gather feedback to improve data products.
- Advance enterprise reporting through product-thinking, including roadmaps and backlog management.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
Team Collaboration
- Act as SME for Data Engineers and Reporting Experts.
- Manage vendors and cross-functional work to achieve outcomes.
- Create materials for leadership presentations.
General IT Analyst Duties
- Produce weekly and monthly KPI reports using Excel and Power BI.
- Develop SQL queries for recurring and ad-hoc reports.
- Identify trends, gaps, and improvements in operational performance.
- Optimize statistical calculations for better business metrics.
- Engage in new analytical projects and exploratory data capturing.
- Identify and resolve issues in established reports.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience
- 4+ years in data analysis or similar role.
- 2+ years of SQL writing and data mining experience.
- Experience with MS Power BI and modern data environments, preferably Azure.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with IT frameworks (ITIL, Six Sigma, SCRUM, etc.).
Skills
- BI Tools (Power BI), SQL, Excel.
- Predictive analytics, decision trees, optimization.
- Database design and data visualization tools.
Preferred Experience
- Transportation and Logistics industry experience.
- Familiarity with AWS and Azure data platforms.
