Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a/an Training Specialist, located in Dongguan. Responsible for developing and conducting training programs for employees within the organization.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Participates in needs analysis studies to determine training needs within organization.
  • Confers with management to gain knowledge of specific work situations requiring employees to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations and technologies.
  • Formulates teaching outline and determines instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings and workshops.
  • Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works.
  • Selects or develops testing and evaluation procedures to be used at completion of training.
  • Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as new employee orientation, on-the-job training, use of computers and software, apprenticeship programs, customer service, sales techniques, health and safety practices, public relations, refresher training, promotional development, upgrading and leadership development.
  • Evaluates participants to measure progress and to ascertain effectiveness of training.
  • Reports on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.
  • Revises design of training curriculum and methods to improve effectiveness.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of training experience. A Masters or MBA is preferred.
  • Demonstrates advanced operations, technical and people and/or process skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of Flex and related business. Demonstrates detailed expertise in very complex functional/technical area or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas; understands the strategic impact of the function across sites.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, financial reports, legal documents or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, associates, vendors and/or customers. Must be able to communicate to all levels of the organization from production associates through executives.
  • Good written and spoken English & Chinese
