Job Summary


To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an EH&S Manager to join our Flex team located in Henrico, VA.


Reporting to the ​Regional EH&S Manager, the EH&S Manager will be In charge of providing immediate supervision to a group of employees for the implementation of complex activities related to the efficient management of Environmental Health & Safety programs in offices and manufacturing sites in order to ensure that the required company and government standards and regulations are met.


What a typical day looks like:

  • Lead and continuously improve Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) programs across the Henrico manufacturing site, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, OSHA requirements, and applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Partner with site leadership, operations, engineering, production, HR, and regional EH&S teams to integrate safety into daily operations and drive a strong safety culture across the organization.
  • Develop and execute site safety strategies focused on injury prevention, risk reduction, workers' compensation management, incident investigations, and return-to-work programs.
  • Manage EH&S budgets, schedules, resources, and project plans, ensuring programs and initiatives align with business objectives and corporate requirements.
  • Lead safety training, awareness initiatives, and technical presentations while ensuring employees remain informed of policy, procedure, and regulatory changes.
  • Provide strategic leadership and coaching to EH&S team members, developing talent and driving accountability for site-wide environmental, health, and safety performance.
  • Drive EH&S projects and continuous improvement initiatives, including risk assessments, electrical safety programs, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and readiness for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Serve as the primary EH&S advisor to site leadership and executive stakeholders, influencing decisions, recommending policy improvements, and supporting the site's continued growth and operational excellence.

The experience we're looking to add to our team,

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, or a related field, with 7+ years of EH&S experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, workers' compensation, incident investigations, risk assessments, electrical safety, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) programs.
  • Proven experience leading EH&S programs, managing budgets and projects, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across site operations.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, with experience supporting compliance, certification, or management system programs preferred.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification strongly preferred, along with the ability to influence stakeholders, develop teams, and build a strong culture of safety
