To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Equipment Maintenance Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Test Engineering Manager, the Equipment Maintenance Engineer position directs activities of personnel engaged in the troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of manufacturing equipment to attain goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.

What a typical day looks like:

• Directs daily department activities to maximize equipment utilization and support production needs.  

• Establishes preventative maintenance schedules.   

• Forecasts operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requests. 

• Reviews and establishes material, equipment, and workforce resource requirements. 

• Coordinates maintenance activities with other functional groups such as engineering and operations.  Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the departmental function.   

• Administer safety programs to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees. 

• Generates maintenance logs and other operations metrics. 
• Drives periodical meetings with asset management team for reporting and strategy purposes.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's degree completed in related field.
• English intermediate without problems to communicate.
• 10+ years of experience in engineering with consistent experience as manager.
• Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor and lead by example.
• Technical background in SMT lines, dispensing (deck), and pick-and-place processes (teachable).
• Structure and lead a work team.
• Maintenance planning, inventory control, and preventive processes.
• Metrics such as MTTR.
• Prioritize keeping the line running; respond to any event in a timely manner.
