Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we're calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Equipment Maintenance Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Sr Director Operations, the role involves directs activities of personnel engaged in the troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of manufacturing equipment to attain goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.

What a typical day looks like:

• Directs daily department activities to maximize equipment utilization and support production needs. 
• Establishes preventative maintenance schedules.  
• Forecasts operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requests.
• Reviews and establishes material, equipment, and workforce resource requirements.
• Coordinates maintenance activities with other functional groups such as engineering and operations.  Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the departmental function.  
• Administer safety programs to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees.
• Generates maintenance logs and other operations metrics.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in similar position.
• Advanced English communication skills (verbal and Written).
• Strong experencies in SMT Process & Reflow Oven.
• Experience in Key Metrics (KPIs, Yield).
• Demonstrates skills in performance management, teaching/leading, counseling and/or mentoring.
• Spare Parts Management Expert.
