Job summary:

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Industrial Engineer located in Aguascalientes.

Reporting to Industrial Engineering Manager, Industrial Engineer is responsible responsible for increasing productivity through the management of workers, methods of business organization, and technology to solve organizational, production, and related problems efficiently.

What a typical day looks like:

• Apply methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities, such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing work flow, relocation work stations and equipment, and purchase of equipment.
• Manages and supports initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas like Lean, Automation and/or Six Sigma projects
• Designs or improve systems for the physical distribution of goods and services, as well as defining the most efficient plant locations.
• Develops management control systems to aid in financial planning and cost reviews, and design production planning and control systems to coordinate activities and ensure product quality
• Confers with management and engineering staff to implement improvement plans
• Examines staff utilization, facility layout, and operational data, such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to define efficient utilization of workers and equipment
• During NPI coordinates process planning, layout, facilities and set up with respect to takt, cycle time and direct labor requirement
• Provides process time estimation to the quote team.
• Responsible of equipment's capacity (SMT, PTH & Testing)
• Forecast analysis with Program Managers and resources allocation

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Advance English
• Related experience.
• Experience working in production lines.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards, also with Lean Manufacturing, JIT and MRP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Experience in Autocad, layouts, facilities.
• Demonstrates operations and technical skills and basic people and/or process management skills.
