Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Junior Engineer - Quality at Pune Location
What a typical day looks like:
- Knowledge in Quality Management System, 7 Quality Tools/Terminology and Quality Core Tools.
- Support new product launches by ensuring supplier quality compliance.
- Follow up with suppliers for root cause analysis and corrective actions on quality issues
- Review and improve supplier manufacturing processes, driving value and efficiency.
- Have basic knowledge on continuous improvement process using Lean, Six Sigma, Poka‑Yoke and PFMEA techniques.
- Provide concise, complete, and accurate documentation of inspection results relative to area of responsibility.
- Conduct on-site/virtual audits to verify corrective actions related to supplier quality issues.
- Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process, or system.
- Preparation & Validation of First Article Inspection
- Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products or changes related to current products in meeting customer requirements.
- Manage and coordinate supplier Material / Non-Material cost recovery for Supplier Quality issues.
- Ensure readiness for internal and external audits.
- Knowledge on ISO/IATF regulations & requirements
- Undertake special projects as required and Provide data-driven decision support wherever needed.
- Leverages data analytics and statistical methods to optimize manufacturing processes, improve product quality, and enhance operational efficiency
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- BE/B.Tech in ECE, EEE, IC, Mechanical, or Mechatronics with 0–2 years of experience in APQP, PPAP, FMEA within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the EMS industry.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and quality/business systems.
- Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and TS16949 standards.
- Familiarity with measurement techniques and engineering drawing interpretation.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse and dynamic environment.
- Strong planning and prioritization skills.
- Willing to work in flexible shifts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (mandatory).
