Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Logistics Project Engineer located in in Oostrum, North Limburg.
The Engineering & Project Management department provides support for various customer-oriented implementations and optimizations of logistics concepts and processes. Expansion of activities requires a next Logistics Project Engineer. You will be a member of the site Engineering team and report to the Manager Engineering & Project Management.
What a typical day looks like:
- Ability to translate customer (internal/external) wishes into a BRD (business requirement document).
- Design and implement logistics processes for new or existing customers.
- Ability to design optimal physical layouts and review/ discuss automation solutions.
- Draw up process descriptions, that you translate into functional specifications, for the realization of IT system developments.
- You are closely involved in the assessment of (new) customer issues for logistics solutions and services.
- Ability to independently manage smaller projects and participate as an active member in larger projects
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- BSc or MSc degree in Logistics Engineering / Supply Chain Mgt. or equivalent
- A solid knowledge of Warehouse Mgt. Systems / logistics processes.
- Experienced with logistics automation solutions / implementations is a strong plus
- Strong analytical skills; structured, critical thinking.
- Knowledge of MS Office Excel (Visio / AutoCAD is a plus).
- Advanced English and (preferably) Dutch.
