Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add to our Zalaegerszeg team a Marketing & Communication Manager
Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Program Management you will define and deliver a strategic Communications approach by shaping media positioning, managing key external relationships, and ensuring consistent messaging across internal and external channels. You will lead end‑to‑end event planning and translate market and industry insights into clear content. You will bring a future‑focused perspective and strong expertise in media communications to support business objectives.
What a typical day looks like:
- Partner closely with the Senior Director of Corporate Marketing (EMEA) to define strategic positioning and the tone of all media engagements; write and edit media materials including press releases, speeches, scripts, articles, and business presentations in alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders across the region, including governmental bodies (e.g., Ministries, HIPA, local mayors), professional communities, and key industry associations such as MAGE, AMCHAM, and other automotive-related organizations.
- Act as a liaison for external communications, ensuring that core messages and strategic themes are consistently reflected in internal employee communications through collaboration with local HR teams.
- Plan, manage, and execute events end‑to‑end, ensuring alignment with target audience needs, business goals, and organizational expectations.
- Support the Senior Director of Program Management by creating, maintaining, and continuously updating site information materials (e.g., PowerPoint presentations), tailored to the specific needs of different events, customer visits, and stakeholder groups.
- Translate market intelligence and industry trends—including strategic direction and future development outlook—into clear, engaging internal communication materials that support employee understanding and alignment.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Demonstrates a forward‑looking, strategic mindset combined with deep knowledge of public and media communication
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar position;
- Advance knowledge of MS Office package;
- Experience in communications, community relations, media relations, public affairs, and corporate social responsibility;
- Demonstrated competence in managing PR and corporate marketing campaigns and events
- Very good use of English language is mandatory ;
- Extensive experience drafting and editing messaging documents, press releases, talking points, internal communications and FAQs;
- Prior experience with managing large events
- Strong writing skills and the ability to articulate concepts, messages and strategies;
- Strong understanding of social media/social media metrics and how it can amplify traditional PR outreach.
