Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Production Planning Analyst located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Materials Manager the Production Planning Analyst is responsible for production planning, materials coordination, and data analysis to ensure efficient manufacturing operations. The role supports production scheduling, monitors material availability, and ensures alignment between supply chain, purchasing, and production in a high-volume mechanical manufacturing environment.
What a typical day looks like:
- Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with customer demand and capacity.
- Monitor production line performance, including downtime and On-Time Delivery (OTD).
- Coordinate material availability with production requirements.
- Support inventory control and material flow to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Lead daily follow-ups to ensure production plan execution.
- Maintain materials and purchasing data in ERP systems.
- Create weekly purchase orders and track material availability.
- Act as liaison between production, purchasing, and suppliers.
- Manage consigned materials and support RMA processes.
- Update item master and BOM-related information.
- Collect, analyze, and present data from multiple sources (BOMs, PPV, production metrics).
- Support NPI planning activities and supply chain risk management.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication across operations, supply chain, and production.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- Experience as a planner or a similar position.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Basic to intermediate English proficiency.
- Experience with production lines and downtime analysis, OTD, Inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Purchasing and supplier coordination
- Experience supporting NPI and cost reduction initiatives.
- Background in mechanical manufacturing.
