To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Solution Manager – IT located in Chennai location.

Flex Future factory Solution Manager is responsible for leading the development, integration & delivery of applications that support factory production, maintenance, quality management, and real-time operational decision-making. This role requires close collaboration with manufacturing teams, EIT, and external vendors to deliver solutions that improve operational performance.

Reporting to the Senior Director, and the role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

  • Collaborate with Global Capability Owners, Site production teams and Future factory Stream leads to gather operational requirements.

  • Ensure solutions align with manufacturing standards, Industry best practices.

  • Oversee end-to-end Development of factory applications, including design, development, configuration, testing, and go-live support.

  • Manage the delivery Sprints, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications into existing factory processes.

  • Act as the main point of contact for factory system issues and improvement initiatives.

  • Conduct risk assessments related to factory applications and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Coordinate with vendors and software providers for system integration, upgrades, and deliverables

  • Promote continuous improvement by analyzing operational data and recommending new tools or enhancements.

  • Keep abreast of emerging manufacturing technologies and industry trends.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in IT or related fields.

  • 10+Yrs of proven experience in IT

  • MES / Factory Operations.

  • Solutioning & Delivery Management

  • E2E Factory Operations Knowledge 

  • Good to have ERP knowledge
