Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Specialist - Master Data Management in Chennai.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Responsible for managing the sites' Procurement & Supply Chain - MDM services by being the first point of contact for sites & its deliverable
  • Would improve service penetration with sites by working closely with regional teams and drive QBRs
  • Work closely with the MDM central functions to ensure all requests are fulfilled per agreed SLA
  • Manage site specific activities per agreed SLAs
  • Would work towards continuously improving the process effectiveness and efficiency
  • Ensure timely updating of all SOPs and SOWs
  • Work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
  • Will be required to document procedures and create work instructions as appropriately for various projects/activities
  • Would coach and provide guidance to lower-level support analysts
  • Demonstrates advanced functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills. Demonstrates advanced skills in functional/ technical area.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Works on problems of moderate scope, typically at the site level.  Enhances and provides input to functional processes or technologies.  Executes functional strategic plans or objectives at the site. Demonstrates capabilities to lead a major initiative.
  • Determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to other personnel.
  • Demonstrates skills in teaching/ leading and/or mentoring; and may lead a team.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or Engineering Graduates (3+ Years of experience)
  • Proficiency: ERP/P2P systems BAAN / SAP/ Oracle
  • Mandatory Knowledge of computer software applications, MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills - MANDATORY
