Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we're calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.
SpinCo is seeking a Sr. Director Finance whowill be responsible for coordinating financial activities for a group of global account managers in a business unit, managing the financial status of customer accounts, and managing the financial planning, forecasting, and analysis of the group. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this role is part of our new spin-off Company and an exciting opportunity to be a part of this new global company.
The role is based from our Austin, TX headquarters.
Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:
- Partner with the global account team to drive achievement of financial results
- Effectively communicate with leadership to provide a transparent perspective on financial performance while providing solutions as needed
- Coach and mentor global account manager on financial topics
- Drive strategies to enhance value of customer accounts through new business models and customer negotiations
- Meet with customers to discuss and negotiate financial aspects of business arrangements, credit issues, and other topics as needed.
- Manage the preparation of quarterly financial reporting package for leadership review.
- Manage risk in customer accounts through handling of credit and exposure.
- Ensure monthly informative account analysis is performed.
- Be abreast of industry trends and apply them to the business model as appropriate.
Here's what we're looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience and training.
- A background supporting manufacturing or global procurement and supply chain organizations preferred.
- Masters Business Administration is preferred.
- Demonstrates expert communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate information to top management and external parties.
- Exceptional excel skills and ability to manage and manipulate large quantities of data.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
