Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a [Global Supply Quality Manager] located in [Jiading, Shanghai].
GSQE Manager is responsible for leading the global supplier quality organization, driving supplier quality strategy, managing high‑risk commodities, and ensuring suppliers consistently meet Flex quality, compliance, and customer requirements across the full product lifecycle.
To manager GSQE Team for both Power module and Custom Power within Flex Embedded Power
What a typical day looks like:
- Lead, coach, and develop a global team of GSQEs, ensuring clear accountability, capability growth, and performance management
- Oversee supplier quality control activities including annual audits, QBR reviews, PCN reviews, and supplier risk assessments
- Ensure implementation and effectiveness of Supplier Quality Assurance Plans (SQAP) for new suppliers and new components
- Act as the primary quality interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders including R&D, NPI, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and customers
- Provide technical leadership for key commodities, particularly for Power Supply Products and Battery Backup Units used in AI data centers
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Quality Management, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Automation, or related engineering fields
- Expert knowledge of supplier quality management systems and audit methodologies
- Strong command of quality tools and techniques: 8D, 5‑Why, SPC, FMEA, APQP, CIP
- Proven ability to manage complex supplier quality issues, escalations, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong background working with suppliers for power, electronics, mechanical, or energy‑related commodities
- Strong people leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Excellent cross‑functional coordination skills with the ability to influence across regions and organizations
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
